About NetBuddy (TM)
-------------------
please send comments to: feedback@internetsol.com
HOW IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME:
--------------------------
NetBuddy is a free web-watching tool from Internet Solutions, Inc.
Use NetBuddy to keep an eye on web pages that change often (such as
news, stock quotes, statistics, comics, etc.). Get the new Dilbert
as soon as it's posted!
Use NetBuddy to watch web pages that change rarely but with important
consequences (your competitor's price sheet. maybe?).
USE WITH OR WITHOUT A BROWSER:
------------------------------
NetBuddy is not a browser, but it does go onto the net and grab data.
If the pages you ask it to watch change, it notifies you. Then you
can either a) see the raw HTML data in a NetBuddy window, or b) send the
page location to Netscape Navigator (1.1 or newer) with one click.
NetBuddy works best with Netscape Navigator 1.2 or newer, because it
can import Netscape's bookmark file.
HEY, I DON'T HAVE/LIKE NETSCAPE!
--------------------------------
OK. If your browser handles the same API/DDE messages as Netscape's,
tell NetBuddy to use your browser instead of Netscape. Do this either
when NetBuddy installs and asks you for a browser, or edit the
"BrowserPath" item in NetBuddy.ini after installation.
WHAT ABOUT...
-------------
We will incorporate your feedback into new products, both
free and commercial. Let us know what you like or don't like. Thanks!
